Integrating through a digital banking platform
This page is for institutions whose account holders bank through a digital banking platform. In this path, PayMitto runs inside your platform's online banking experience instead of a frontend your team builds, so much of the setup happens with your platform provider. Read on to see what that means for your integration and which parts of the standard flow still apply.
Before you begin
Before you start, make sure you have the following in place:
- Read Choose your integration to confirm this is your path.
- Know which digital banking platform your institution uses.
What you'll do
Here's what you'll do on this page:
- See how PayMitto runs inside your platform.
- Understand who does what between PayMitto, your platform, and your institution.
- Get in touch with PayMitto to start setup.
The Web SDK in your platform
PayMitto's digital banking platform integrations use the Web SDK, delivered as an iframe inside the platform's online banking experience. The Web SDK is a payments UI, so it fits inside your platform's existing experience.
Who does what
- PayMitto works with your platform and with your institution on setup.
- Your institution coordinates enablement with your platform and with PayMitto.
What still applies
The transfer flow is the same as any PayMitto SDK integration. See How a PayMitto SDK integration works for the overall flow and Transfer status updates for status events.
